Ms. Willie Bailey

Mrs. Willie Mae Bailey, affectionately known as “Billy,” departed this life on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Serenity Place, Dublin, GA. Funeral services were held on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at Union Hill Baptist Church with Elder Jessie Mountain officiating. Interment was held in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Bailey was born on March 25, 1950 to the parentage of the late Mr. Alton Clover and the late Ms. Martha Brinson.

She was educated in the public school of Florida. She was married to the late Mr. Oscar Bailey of Tampa, FL, where she resided until his passing. She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family and friends.

Mrs. Bailey leaves to cherish her memories a longtime companion: Mr. Gary Darrisaw, Wrightsville, GA; daughter: Mrs. Bonita(Delvon) Anderson El, Valrico, FL; four sisters: Mrs. Joanne Norris Poole, Sandersville, GA, Mrs. Betty (Charles) Mitchell, Ms. Martha Norris, Louisville, GA, Mrs. Ella Frances (Charles) Ellison, Tennille, GA; two brothers: Mr. Willie B. Norris, Tennille, GA, Mr. Willie Daniel (Arletha) Norris, Smyrna, DE; two grandchildren: Ms. Jasmyene Black, Ms. Sheyenne Black; devoted friends: Missionary Vondell Warthen, Darrisaw Family; a host of other relatives and friends.
