Ms. Barbara Dixon

Ms. Barbara Dixon, Los Angeles, California, passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2017 in Los Angeles, California. Funeral services were held on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at St. James CME with Rev. Dwight Crew officiating. Interment was held in the church cemetery.

Ms. Dixon was born on November 1, 1958 to the parentage of the late Mr. David Dixon and the Late Mrs. Catherine Moss Dixon. She was preceded in death by two sisters Ms. Dorothy M. Dixon and Ms. Pamela M. Dixon.

She was a member of St. James CME Church, Warthen, GA. She graduated in 1976 from Washington County High School. She attended the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC. Barbara was employed by the District Attorney Office of Ventura County as a Program Administrator.

Ms. Dixon is survived by one sister: Ms. Margaret Dixon, Warthen, Georgia; two brothers: Mr. Bob Dixon, Statham, Georgia, Mr. Wilford Dixon: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; several other relatives and friends. M.C. Smith Funeral Home is in charge.
