Mr. Roosevelt Hooks

Mr. Roosevelt Hooks, Tennille, Georgia, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2017. Funeral services were held on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Green Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Frank Smith officiating. Interment was held at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Hooks was born September 15, 1952 in Tennille, Washington County, Georgia. He was the son of Mrs. Gladine Peeler Hooks and the late Mr. Tom Hooks.

He was a 1970 graduate of T. J. Elder High School, Sandersville, Georgia.

He was employed as a stocker at Wal-Mart, Sandersville , Georgia where he retired in 2012

He enjoyed making friends laugh by telling jokes.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mrs. Ora Dell Outlaw Hooks.

Mr. Hooks is survived by his Mother Ms. Gladine Hooks; Two Brothers: Mr. Tommy Hooks, Mr. Sylvester Hooks; Three Sisters: Ms. Annie Moment, Ms. Dorothy Daniels, Ms. Shirlene Gibbons; Seven nephews: Mr. Moneyque Moment, Mr. Antonio Hooks, Mr. Larry Gibbons, Mr. Quartez Daniels, Mr. Duartez Daniels, Mr. Antonio Lovett, Mr. Reco Taylor; Three Nieces: Ms. Angela Moment, Ms. Ashley Hooks, Ms. Erica Kitchens.
