Mr. Markel Johnson

Mr. Markel Johnson passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2017. Funeral services were held on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Union Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Darrell Mitchell officiating. Interment was held in Camp Spring Baptist Church Cemetery. The body will lie in state from 10:00 A.M. until the hour of the service.

Mr. Johnson was born November 23, 1988 to the parentage of Ms. Deborah Lovett and Mr. Michael Johnson.

He was very family oriented. Markel liked to spend time with his family and friends, travel, dressing up and going out to eat. He enjoyed watching TV and relaxing in the evenings with his wife.

Markel was employed as a general Manager for McDonald’s for many years.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Mrs. Essie Mae Lovett, Mr. Sandy Lovett, Jr. and Mr. Jocephus Johnson.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife: Mrs. Briana Jordan-Johnson, Dublin, Georgia; four children: Miss Aubree Johnson, Mr. Raquel Johnson, Mr. Kaleb Johnson, Miss Ariah Johnson, Dublin, Georgia; mother: Ms. Debra Ann Lovett, Tennille, Georgia; father: Mr. Michael Johnson, Sandersville, Georgia; two brothers: Mr. Antonio Lovett, Mr. Michael Johnson, Sandersville, Georgia; several other relatives and friends. M.C. Smith Funeral Home in charge.

The family will be receiving relatives and friends at 411 South Washington Lane Tennille, Georgia 31089.
