Mrs. Lenora Pinkston

Mrs. Lenora Pinkston passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 in Decatur, Georgia. Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Paul CME Church Sparta, Georgia with Minister Gary Clayton officiating. Interment was held in the church cemetery.

She was born on January 3, 1923 to the parentage of the late Mr. William Cummings and the late Mrs. Willie Ann Hall.

Mrs. Pinkston was married to the late Mr. Robert Pinkston on October 12, 1940 and to this union five children were born.

She was preceded in death by a son, Mr. Robert William Pinkston, three sisters and three brothers.

Mrs. Pinkston is survived by four daughters: Ms. Evelyn Hodges, Ms. Edith Johnson, Mrs. Marie (Dexter) Nichols, Ms. Wilmer Pinkston, Atlanta, Georgia; ten grand children; twenty three great grandchildren; twelve great great grandchildren; several other relatives and friends.
