Mr. Vincent Brown

Mr. Vincent Brown, Sandersville, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017 in Augusta, Georgia. Funeral services were held on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Union Hill Baptist Church with Rev. W. Roy Grissom officiating. Interment was held in the Georgia Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Brown was born September 10, 1963 to the parentage of Mr. Artis James and Mrs. Maggie Pearl Jordan.

Vincent was a 1981 graduate of Washington County High School. He enjoyed sports and loved spending time with his family. He married Mrs. Charlene Hall Brown in 1993.

He was ordained as a deacon in 2011 at Georgia Grove Baptist Church, and was a faithful member of his church. He was an usher, armor bearer, van driver and sang in the choir. In 2016 he joined OBOA as an official. Vincent was an all around good person.

Mr. Brown is survived by his wife: Mrs. Charlene Hall Brown; two daughters: Ms. QuaShundria Brown, Ms. Tokashema Hall, Sandersville, Georgia; one son: Mr. Verlyn T. Brown, Boston, Massachusetts; Mother: Ms. Maggie Pearl Jordan, Sandersville, Georgia; Father: Mr. Artis (Cynthia) James, Stone Mountain, Georgia; three sisters: Ms. Linda James Brown, Ms. Peggy Jordan, Sandersville, Georgia, Ms. Chikita James, Atlanta, Georgia; Brother: Mr. Shapour (Courtney) James, Conyers, Georgia. Several other relatives and friends. M.C. Smith Funeral Home in charge.
