Mrs. Neolia Ford

Mrs. Neolia Ford passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 in Tifton, Georgia. Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Harrison Springs Baptist Church with Elder Jimmy Wright officiating. Interment was held in Harrison City Cemetery.

Mrs. Ford was born May 18, 1953 in Sandersville, Georgia to the parentage of the late Mr. Herman and Mrs. Mary Wright.

She attended the public schools of Washington County and later attended Ben Hill Irwin Technical College in Ocilla, Georgia where she obtained a degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology. She pursued her business as a seamstress and eventually opened Same Day Sewing.

In 1980 she married the late Mr. James Ford, Jr. who was an avid fisherman, sports fan and active member of the Irwin County Community,

Mrs. Ford is survived by a daughter: Ms. Venus Ford, Ocilla, Georgia; two sons: Mr. Burt Beron Wright, Sandersville, Georgia, Mr. Moses Malone Brown, Tifton, Georgia; one sister: Ms. Janice Wiley, Sandersville, Georgia; two brothers: Mr. Tommy Wright, Decatur, Georgia, Mr Jimmy (Valerie) Wright, Clayton, North Carolina; two grandchildren; several other relatives and friends.
