Mr. Gregory Cummings

Mr. Gregory Cummings, passed away on Saturday, January 20, 2018 in Augusta, Georgia. Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at Springfield Baptist Church with Rev. Calvin Hatcher officiating. Interment was held in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Mr. Cummings was born July 20, 1966 to the parentage of Mr. Eddie Lee Lovett and the late Ms. Piccola Cummings.

He was a 1984 graduate of Washington County High School. If asked by him what he does best, he would have said that he was a jack of all trades. One of his greatest talents was singing.

Mr. Cummings is survived by seven sisters: Mrs. Ola Mae (Bishop) Davis, Mrs. Annie Marie (Napoleon) Castleberry, Sandersville, Georgia, Ms. Carrie Bell Lovett, Ms. Patricia Lovett, Ms. Ethel Lovett, Ms. Annie Lovette Hall, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Ms. Joanne Moorman, Sandersville, Georgia; two brothers: Mr. Willie Brown, St. Mary, Georgia, Mr. Joey Asberry, Sandersville, Georgia. Several other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. M.C. Smith Funeral Home in charge.
