Mrs. Shantina Hagans Sanders, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 in Sandersville, Georgia. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at St. James Christian Fellowship Church with Bishop K.E. Phillips officiating. Interment was held in Harrison Cemetery.

Mrs. Sanders was born March 21, 1979 in Augusta, Georgia to the parentage of Mr. Gregory Maxwell and the late Mrs. Mozelle Hagans Scott.

She attended the public schools of Washington County.

She was preceded in death by her grandmothers: Ms. Claudia Mae Hagans and Ms. Lillie Mae Hagans.

Mrs. Hagans is survived by her husband: Mr. Reginald Sanders, Sandersville, Georgia; three daughters: Ms. Shantaneak Hagans, Ms. Shanquetta Lovett, Ms. Yasarriah Hagans, Sandersville, Georgia; father: Mr. Gregory Maxwell, New Jersey; two sisters: Ms. Nicole Simmons, Ms. Debbie Trowelle, New Jersey; grandmother: Ms. Barbara Maxwell, New Jersey; four aunts: Mrs. Retha Biggins, Ms. Bertha Dawson, Ms. Jeanette Brown, Sandersville, Georgia, Ms. Georgia Brown, Atlanta, Georgia; two uncles: Mr. Marion Maxwell, Mr. Eric Maxwell, New Jersey; stepfather: Mr. Willie (Lisa) Scott, Sandersville, Georgia; six grandchildren; devoted friends: Mrs. Ann (Andrew) Kitchen, Warthen, Georgia, Mrs. Patricia Middlebrook, Ms. Lora Bell, Sandersville, Georgia; a host of other relatives and friends.
