Ms. Juliet Cordy

Ms. Juliet Cordy, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2018 at a local hospital. Funeral services were held on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at 3:00 P.M. from Greater New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Eddie D. Smith officiating. Interment was held in the church cemetery.

She was born May 26, 1957 to the parentage of the late Mr. Willie B. Cason and the late Ms. Lillie M. Cordy.

Ms. Cordy joined Greater New Hope Baptist Church at an early age. Juliet was a 1975 graduate of Washington County High School. While in school, she was a member of the track and field team.

Juliet was known for making people laugh and always talking. She loved to fish and was always willing to help others do work around their house. She was a nanny to many children and she loved and cherished her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter Ms. Latarsha Cuyler.

Ms. Cordy is survived by two daughters: Ms. Sekeya Cuyler, Ms. Dimeka Wright; one son: Mr. Darrence Cordy; four sisters: Ms. Jeannette Peacock, Ms. Mamie Kate Cordy, Ms. Deborah Cordy, Ms. Denise Cordy; devoted companion: Mr. Trentson Watts; eight grandchildren; several other relatives and friends.
