Mr. James Lemon, Jr.

Mr. James Lemon, Jr., passed away on Monday, August 13, 2018 in Pennsylvania. Funeral services were held on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Elder Patrick Wilson Sr. officiating. Interment was held in the church cemetery.

Mr. Lemon was born November 14, 1958 in Sandersville, Georgia to the parentage of the late Mr. James Lemon, Sr. and the late Mrs. Bernice Lemon.

He graduated from Washington County High School in 1975. James had a passion for carpentry. He was a commercial carpenter and a member of the Carpenters Union Local 167 for over 30 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and listening to jazz music.

Mr. Lemon leaves to cherish his memories four daughters: Ms. Sakendra Brookins, Warner Robins, Georgia, Mrs. Shaquonta (Ernest) Johnson, Sandersville, Georgia, Mrs. LaToya (Keith) Hilson, Tennille, Georgia, Ms. Angelica Pippen, Norristown, Pennsylvania; grandchildren: Mr. Nicholas Johnson, Miss Sequoia Brookins, Miss Ka'Nyah Johnson, Miss Nyla Johnson, Miss Allison Walden; great grandchildren: Miss Taylor Johnson, Miss Katelyn Johnson; five sisters: Ms. Jennifer Lemon, Sandersville, Georgia, Mrs. Phyllis (John) Jackson, Ms. Norma Lemon, Macon, Georgia, Ms. Virginia Jones, Sandersville, Georgia, Ms. Catherine Lemon, Atlanta, Georgia; aunt: Ms. Claudia Fleming; devoted friends: Mr. Tony Boyd, Mr. Abdel Hadi Muhammed, Ms. Jozell Scott, Norristown, Pennsylvania, Mr. Aubrey Moore, Deepstep, Georgia; a host of other relatives and friends.
