Mr. John Major, passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Amicasa Hospice in Decatur, Georgia. Funeral services were held on Friday, November 2, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. at M.C. Smith Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Lindra Fleming officiating. Interment will be held in city cemetery.

Mr. Major is survived by his sister: Mrs. Edith Mills, Las Vegas, Nevada; brother: Mr. Ransom Coleman, New York; devoted brother in law: Mr. Ralph Johnson, Jr., Atlanta, Georgia; sister in law: Mrs. Nina Hodges, Atlanta, Georgia; devoted nephew: Mr. Jermain Johnson, Florida; devoted cousins: Mr. Walter Major, Mr. Calvin Taylor, Atlanta, Georgia. Several other relatives and friends. M.C. Smith Funeral Home in charge.
