Mr. Hubert Roberson, Jr.

Mr. Hubert Roberson, Jr. passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019 in Augusta, Georgia. Funeral services were held on Friday, January 25, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Middle Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Curry officiating. Interment was held in the church cemetery.

He was born on May 22, 1951 in Sandersville, GA to the parentage of the late Mr. Hubert Roberson, Sr. and the late Mrs. Carrie Mell Brown Roberson.

At an early age he joined Middle Hill Baptist Church, where he served faithfully.

Mr. Roberson attended and graduated from T.J. Elder High School. He was a certified nursing assistant and worked at Barker and Associates, Georgia War Veterans Home, Central State Hospital and Sparta Health Care for many years.

He was preceded in death by a sister: Ms. Carolyn Roberson, brother: Mr. Bobby Roberson and a step son, Mr. Brian Christopher Johnson.

Mr. Roberson leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife: Mrs. Gloria Jean Johnson Roberson, Sandersville, GA; daughter: Mrs. Charlotte Iruviere, Euless, TX; three sons: Mr. Anthony (Jamie) Roberson, Mr. Brandon (Danielle) Johnson, Augusta, GA, Mr. Lorenzo (Ashley) Johnson, Sandersville, GA; sister: Min. Dorothy (Bobby) Haynes, Sandersville, GA; two aunts: Mrs. Ella Mae Brown, Sandersville, GA, Mrs. Louvenia Flournoy, Greenville, NC; six sisters-in-law: Ms. Theresa Roberson, Lithonia, GA, Ms. Barbara Ann Jackson, Ms. Cynthia Ann Johnson, Mrs. Lee Rutha (Ronnie) Johnson, Sandersville, GA, Mrs. Mary (Chester) Lawson, Tennille, GA, Ms. Patricia Ann Johnson, Augusta, GA; brother-in-law: Mr. Ronald Johnson, Sandersville, GA; devoted friend: Mr. Donnell Johnson; thirteen grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
