Mrs. Susie Brown

Mrs. Susie Brown, passed away on Monday, March 4, 2019 at Serenity Place Hospice, Dublin, Georgia. Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 9, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Dixon Grove COGIC with Elder Jeremiah Wooten officiating. Interment was held in church cemetery.

On Monday morning, March 4, 2019 at Serenity Hospice Care, Dublin, GA, Mrs. Susie Brown was called home by our Heavenly father.

She was born on August 12, 1934 in Washington County, GA to the parentage of the later Mr. Henry Bouyer and late Mrs. Sunnie Darrisaw Bouyer.

At an early age, she joined Dixon Grove Church of God In Christ and served faithfully until her health failed. She was a 1958 graduate of T.J. Elder High School. On April 23, 1966 she was united in holy matrimony to the late Mr. Joseph Brown, Jr. For many years she was employed y Morrison Food Service.

Mrs. Brown was a great wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.

She was preceded in death by a sister: Mother Alma Cason and brother: Mr. Marion Hurst, Sr.

Mrs. Brown is survived by three daughters: Ms. Sandy Brown, Ms. Twanda Gail Brown, Mrs. Terri Brown Cannida, Sandersville, Georgia; two sisters: Mrs. Eula Mae Bell, Tennille, Georgia, Ms. Gladine Merrell, Oconee, Georgia; fifteen grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren; several other relatives and friends.
