Mr. Eddie Walker

Mr. Eddie Walker passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at his residence. Funeral services were held on Friday, September 27, 2019 at 1:00 P.M. at T.J. Elder Community Center, Sandersville, Georgia with Rev. Calvin Hatcher officiating. Interment was in Woodlawn cemetery.

He was born on July 26, 1958 to the parentage of the late Mr. U.L. Walker, Sr. and Mrs. Ida Mae Walker.

During his high school years, Eddie enjoyed playing football. For over thirty years, he worked as a mechanic. He was a great man and a hard worker who supported his family until his health failed.

He was preceded in death by two sisters: Ms. Irene Walker, Ms. Marie Walker and two brothers: Mr. U.L. Walker, Jr. and Mr. John E. Walker.

Mr. Walker leaves to cherish his memories a loving devoted wife of forty years: Mrs. May P. Walker, Sandersville, GA; two daughters: Ms. Tina Walker, Atlanta, GA, Ms. Maria Walker, Sandersville, GA; two sons: Mr. Eddie J. Walker, Jr., Mr. Michael Walker, Sandersville, GA; one sister: Ms. Magnolia Walker, Stone Mountain, GA; three brothers: Mr. Wilson Walker, Mr. Ernest Walker, Sparta, GA, Mr. Willie C. (Ollie) Walker, Miami, FL; four sisters-in-law: Mrs. Johnnie Mae Walker, Sparta, GA, Mrs. Peggy (Elder) Jones, Ms. Gracie Sanders, Ms. Mary L. Sanders, Sandersville, GA; two brothers-in-law: Mr. Unice (Angel) Sanders, Mr. Dan Sanders, Sandersville, GA; thirteen grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. M.C.
