Mrs. Ora Mae Harden

Mrs. Ora Mae Harden, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at her residence. Graveside services were held on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, Deepstep, Georgia with Rev. Dr. Bobby Warren officiating.

She was born April 28, 1921 to the parentage of the late Mrs. Sarah Devero Lane and the late Mr. William Lane.

Mrs. Harden was a faithful member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church until her health began to decline.

She loved feeding anyone she thought might be hungry. She was a good cook, baker, seamstress and checker player.

Mrs. Harden loved watching wrestling and baseball games. Her favorite team was the Yankees.

She was preceded in death by five grandchildren: Ms. Shirley Andrews, Mr. Eugene Bridges, Mr. Edward Bridges, Ms. Marilyn Hall and Mr. Willie Lee Odum, Jr.

Mrs. Harden leaves loving and cherished memories to her five children: Ms. Sallie Bridges, Ms. Claudia Moore, Mr. Charles Harden, Sandersville, Georgia, Ms. Christine Hall, Ms. Priscilla Harden, Milledgeville, Georgia; five nieces: Mrs. Betty Poole, Mrs. Corene Veal, Mrs. Marion Watts, Mrs. Alma Jean Lane, Sandersville, Georgia, Mrs. Leslie Mae Cato, Milledgeville, Georgia; twenty eight (28) grandchildren; fifty five (55) great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
