Mr. Darrell Cooper

Mr. Darrell Cooper, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at AU Medical Center, Augusta, Georgia. Funeral services were held on Friday, June 9, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Galilee Baptist Church with Rev. Loretta Middleton officiating.

He was born on January 18, 1966 in Brooklyn, New York to the parentage of the late Mr. Samuel Cooper and Mrs. Mary S. Cooper.

Mr. Cooper attended South Hampton High School in Branchville, Virginia.

At an early age he joined Rising Star Baptist Church in Branchville, where he served faithfully.

He was a loving father and husband. Darrell was a faithful man who loved helping out other people. He loved to make people laugh at his jokes.

Mr. Cooper leaves to cherish his memories, two sons: Mr. Tarrell Cooper, Mr. Jerrell Cooper, Sandersville, Georgia; one sister: Mrs. Sandra (Wyman) Johnson, Sandersville, Georgia; one brother: Mr. Kurt Renfro, Atlanta, Georgia; devoted friend: Ms. Pamela Miller; one niece: Ms. Niauni Johnson; two nephews: Mr. Christian Renfro, Mr. Jory L. Cooper; a host of other relatives and friends. M. C. Smith Funeral home in charge.
