Mr. Eddie Rogers Miller

Mr. Eddie Rogers Miller, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at Harbor Grace Hospice in Atlanta, Georgia. Funeral services were held on Monday, November 28, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Mount Olive Baptist Church with Pastor Corian Roberson officiating. Interment was held in the church cemetery.

Eddie was born on January 2, 1959 in Warthen, Georgia. He was the eldest son of the late Mr. Willie R. Miller and the late Mrs. Thelma L. Miller.

He was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church.

Eddie was a graduate of Washington County High School, class of 1977. He attended Fort Valley State College.

Mr. Miller had a twenty year career as a manager for Norman Electronics Corporation.

Eddie enjoyed gardening and he had a big heart. He loved helping and giving to others; especially to his elders. When he was younger, Eddie would gather up the harvest in the fall and distribute it as a blessing throughout the community.

Mr. Miller leaves to cherish his memories, his siblings: Mrs. Arlene F. (Joe) Murray, Sr., Covington, Georgia, Mr. Willie Vincent (Toni) Miller, Nashville, Tennessee, Mr. Brian K. Miller, College Park, Georgia; aunts: Ms. Julia Childres, Decatur, Georgia, Rev. Dr. Esther Seales, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; devoted nieces: Ms. Ashley V. Murray, Ms. Jaida Hans, Ms. Autumn Murray, Ms. Baylei Murray; nephews: Mr. Joe N. Murray, Jr., Mr. Antonio J. Miller, Mr. Aiden Murray, Mr. Byrce Murray, Mr. Roman Murray; devoted cousins: Mr. Ron O’Keith Childres, Mr. James Albert Gilbert, Mr. Bishmy M. Todd; a host of other relatives and friends. M. C.
