Mr. Felix Sapp

Mr. Felix "Boot" Sapp, passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 in Macon, Georgia. Graveside services were held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 12:00 Noon at Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church located at 928 N. Main St. Davisboro, Georgia, with Rev. Dr. Wilhelmina Jordan officiating.

He was born on July 4, 1933 to the parentage of the late Mr. Perry Sapp, Sr. and the late Ms. Annie Bell Hayles of Davisboro, Georgia.

Mr. Sapp was a native of Davisboro, Georgia until he moved to Sparta, Georgia in 1998.

He was a member of Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church in Davisboro, Georgia.

On June 9, 1977 he was united in holy matrimony to the late Mrs. Ethel Gladdin Sapp until her death on April 26, 1993.

His early education was in the public schools. He worked as a laborer for Outler Farms in Davisboro, Georgia.

He was preceded in death by three brothers: Mr. Perry Sapp, Jr., Mr. Earnest Sapp, Sr., Mr. Robert Lloyd Sapp; three sisters: Mrs. Juanita Ross, Ms. Mabel Sapp and Mrs. Shirley Patrick.

Mr. Sapp leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted daughter: Mrs. Henry Ethel Collier, Sparta, Georgia; devoted grandson: Mr. Quintavis Collier, Sparta, Georgia; devoted sister: Mrs. Myrtice D. (Ralph) Taylor, Atlanta, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. M. C. Smith Funeral Home in charge.
