Mr. Glenn Tillman

Mr. Glenn Tillman, passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021 at his residence. Graveside services were held on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens with Pastor Jonathan Lewis officiating.

He was born on September 21, 1960 in Washington County, Sandersville, Georgia to the parentage of the late Mr. James A. Tillman and the late Mrs. Vera Bloodsaw Tillman. He was preceded in death by a brother: Mr. Gregory Tillman

Mr. Tillman was a 1978 graduate of Washington County High School, Sandersville, Georgia. He worked at Anglo American and Kamin Kaolin Plant for several years. He was employed as a contract laborer for CVB Industrial Contracting, Sandersville, Georgia for several years.

Glenn joined Green Grove Baptist Church at an early age. He was a member of the choir for over thirty (30) years. His favorite songs to sing were “Cooling Water,” “Mary Did You Know” and “He Touched Me.”

He married the former Ms. Rotenia Wadley on May 11, 1990.

Glenn will always be remembered as a hardworking, fun loving, singing, happy and smiling person. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Tillman, Sandersville, Georgia; daughter: Ms. Shakia Tillman (Charles Culver), Sandersville, Georgia; son: Mr. Andriquez Cortez Dent, Sandersville, Georgia; grandchildren: Alexis Dent, Ashton Walker, Austin Walker, Taylen Reynolds, Christian “Toot” Culver; bonus grandchild: Tarazja Walker, Sandersville, Georgia; brother: Mr. James (Lily) Bloodsaw, Sandersville, Georgia; sisters: Ms. Sharon Tillman, Mrs. Cynthia (Larry) Cato, Sandersville, Georgia, Mrs. Cornelia Michelle (Derrick) Crawford, Griffin, Georgia; aunts: Mrs. Elnora Bloodsaw, Mrs. Eva Mae Tillman, Sandersville, Georgia; uncles: Mr. Charles (Betty) Bloodsaw, Mr. Curtis (Mary) Tillman, Mr. Larry Bloodsaw, Mr. George (Helen) James, Sandersville, Georgia; sisters-in-law: Ms. Linda Wadley, Mrs. Brenda Wadley, Sandersville, Georgia, Mrs. Edna Jackson, Tennille, Georgia; brothers-in-law: Mr. Curtis (Willie Mae) Wadley, Mr. Willie Floyd Wadley, Mr. Vincent (Barbara) Wadley, Mr. Ricky (Lesa) Poole, Sandersville, Georgia; devoted friend: Mr. Edward (Alvie) Barlow, Sandersville, Georgia; bonus daughters: Ms. Diamond Mearidy, Harrison, Georgia, Ms. Krystal Tucker, Ms. Chiquita Walker; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
