Mr. Henry King

Mr. Henry King, Davisboro, Georgia passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Washington County Regional Medical Center, Sandersville, Georgia. Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at Limestone Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Johnny Ray Sampson, Sr., officiating. Interment was held in the church cemetery.

He was born on January 22, 1947 to the beloved late Ms. Nora King and the late Mr. Eddie Vining.

Mr. King enjoyed spending time with his family, gardening, caring for his animals and operating his bulldozer for over forty (40) years.

He was preceded in death by his beloved sisters: Mrs. Clementine Edmunds, Mrs. Cubie Wright and a grandson: Mr. Harvey Harris, Jr.

Mr. King leaves cherished memories to his loving wife: Mrs. Glenda Powell King, Davisboro, Georgia; four daughters: Ms. Verondia King, Wrightsville, Georgia, Ms. Chandra Fussell, Augusta, Georgia, Mrs. Rosalyn (Reginald) Scott, Mrs. Vikki (Tracy) Lewis, Wrightsville, Georgia; two sons: Mr. Carl King, Mr. Chris (Danixsa) Fussell, McDonough, Georgia; six sisters: Mrs. Virg (Leon) Lawson, Miami, Florida, Mrs. Dathery (Freddie) Elbert, Ms. Ruby King, Wrightsville, Georgia, Ms. Trudy Vining, Wadley, Georgia, Mrs. Shirley (Will) Palmer, Virginia, Ms. Mamie Vining, Miami, Florida, two brothers: Mr. John B. (Sharon) King, Mr. Dan (Gennell) King; five sisters-in-law: Ms. Mattie P. (Willie) Jackson, Ms. Brenda Powell, Ms. Kathleen Powell, Ms. Mary King, Mrs. Carletha (Vincent) Hall; two brothers-in-law: Minister Hubert (Rosena) Powell, Jr., Mr. Andrew (Amanda) Powell, Sr.; nineteen grandchildren; thirty-two great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
