Mr. Hubert Cato

Mr. Hubert Cato, 512 Pleasant Grove Road, Sandersville, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023 at Washington County Regional Medical Center, Sandersville, Georgia. Funeral services were held on Friday, January 5, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Abundant Life Miracle Deliverance Center with Bishop Jessie Mountain officiating. Interment was held in Harrison Cemetery.

Mr. Cato was born May 16, 1930 in  Washington County, Georgia to the parentage of the late Mr. Robert and Mrs. Ethel Cato.

At an early age, Hubert began pulp wooding. Afterwards, he started working with the State of Georgia.

His favorite hobby was fishing.

He was affiliated with Swint Spring and New Baptist Church where he performed a host of duties. He made his final membership at Abundant Life Miracle Deliverance Center in Harrison, Georgia where he served as a treasurer and  chairman of the Deacon Board for many years until his health declined.

Mr. Cato leaves cherished memories to his devoted wife: Mrs. Mary Lizzie Cato of Sandersville, Georgia; sons: Mr. Linton (Ernestine) Cato of Sandersville, Georgia, Rev. Tony (Lynn) Cato of Boynton Beach, Florida, Elder Willie (Ramona) Taylor of Wrightsville, Georgia, Mr. Ricky (Palmecia) Taylor of Sandersville, Georgia, daughters: Ms. Shirley Cato, Ms. Gertrude Cato, Mrs. Sarah Jones of Sandersville, Georgia, Mrs. Patricia Lyman of Richmond, Virginia; two   sisters: Ms. Mary Cato of Sandersville, Georgia, Ms. Julia Cato of Atlanta, Georgia; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
