Mr. Ira Jackson, Sr. passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at Wellstar MCG. Funeral services were held on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Grace Episcopal Church with The Rev. Fr. Stephen Clifton officiating. Interment was held privately by the family.

Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife: Mrs. Mildred Wilcher Jackson; daughter Mrs. Lynn Jackson (Patrick) Stafford; son: Mr. Ira Jackson, Jr. (Elaina Chance); five grandchildren: Jordan Jackson, Maegann Stafford, Ryan Jackson, Toren Stafford, DaShawn Johnson; daughter-in-law: Ms. Joi Bacote Jackson; a host of other relatives and friends.
