Mr. James E. Davis

Mr. James E. Davis passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Washington County Regional Medical Center. Memorial services were held privately by the family.

He was born on November 14, 1952 to the parentage of the late Mrs. Laurette Davis Outlaw and Mr. Gus (Lizzie Mae) Purvey.

Mr. Davis attended the public schools of Washington County.

He was preceded in death by one daughter: Ms. Annette Michelle Burnett.

Mr. Davis leaves to cherish his memories, three children: Mrs. Sabrina (Vince) Grissom, Mrs. Cheryl (Keith) Cordy, Mr. Jamaal (Donna) Davis; nine grandchildren; Mr. Mario Harper, Mrs. Deyandra (Tremaine) Tucker, Ms. Brianna Davis, Mrs. Shakevia (Thaddeus) Johnson, Mr. Branquavious Robinson, Mr. CJ Davis, Ms. Alyssa Davis, Mr. Landon Davis, Ms. Nacosha Grissom; seven great grandchildren: Keasia Harper, Khylan Smith, Tristan Robinson, Summer Johnson, Ashton Grissom, Elijah Tucker, Noah Tucker; six sisters: Ms. Karen Outlaw, Ms. Margaret Bailey, Ms. Pamela Burden, Ms. Lynette Davis, Ms. Vernida Curry, Ms. Peronia Jenkins; three brothers: Mr. Joseph Purvey, Mr. Thomas Purvey, Mr. Henry Outlaw; a host of other relatives and friends.
