Mr. Jerome Darrisaw

Mr. Jerome Darrisaw passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021 at Washington County Regional Medical Center. Graveside services were held on Friday, July 30, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens with Bro. Vinson Cason officiating.

Jerome was born on May 30, 1966 in Washington County, Sandersville, Georgia to the parentage of Mrs. Ola Mae Darrisaw Ingram.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Mr. John Lee Darrisaw and Mrs. Christine Darrisaw; uncle, Mr. Johnnie Askew; aunt, Mrs. Mamie Ebron.

He attended the public schools of Washington County. He was a graduate of the Washington County High Class of 1984.

Jerome was united in Holy Matrimony to his high school sweetheart, the former Ms. Yvonne Tharpes on December 30, 1987.

He served in the United States Army for twenty plus years until retirement.

Jerome worked at Johnson State Prison , he also worked fourteen years at Advance Auto, Sandersville, Georgia.

He enjoyed watching sports, westerns, and doing yard work.

He attended meetings at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Mr. Darrisaw is survived by his wife: Mrs. Yvonne Darrisaw, Sandersville, Georgia; two daughters: Ms. Ambrea Darrisaw, Ms. Terri Darrisaw, Sandersville, Georgia; parents: Mrs. Ola Mae (Bennie) Ingram, Milledgeville, Georgia; one brother: Mr. Patrick (Michelle) Ingram, Milledgeville, Georgia; several other relatives and friends.
