Mr. Jerome Jordan

Mr. Jerome Jordan, affectionately known as “J Dub,” departed this life on Friday, April 21, 2023.

Graveside services were held on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens with Rev. Cecil Moore officiating.

He was born on February 18, 1982 in Augusta, Georgia to the parentage of Mrs. Helen Burns and Mr. Tony Walker.

Mr. Jordan attended Butler High School in Augusta, Georgia. He was a barber by trade. Jerome was employed by Kimberly Clark in Jonesboro, Georgia as a forklift driver. He was viewed as a dedicated employee.

In his early life, he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and joined Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

Jerome was full of life and was always cracking jokes with his family and friends. He had an infectious laugh. To know Jerome was to love him. He never met a stranger. He also loved listening to music.

Mr. Jordan leaves cherished memories to his parents: Mrs. Helen (Kester) Burns, Augusta, Georgia, Mr. Tony Walker, New York; two children: Jaquan Dunn, Yanaya Price, Augusta, Georgia; one sister: Ms. Tieki Burns, Augusta, Georgia; one niece: Peyton Burns; grandmother: Mrs. Rose Eva Walker, Sandersville, Georgia; three aunts: Mrs. Mary Reynolds, Ms. Grace Jordan, Sandersville, Georgia, Mrs. Joyce Walker, New York; five uncles: Mr. Charles (Valerie) Jordan, Augusta, Georgia, Mr. William Walker, Jr., Mr. Spencer Walker, Mr. Tracy (Brenda) Walker, Mr. Stacy Walker, Sandersville, Georgia; devoted friend: Mr. Korey Hurt; a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
