Mr. John Henry Reeves

Mr. John Henry Reeves, affectionately known as "Jam", passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at his residence. Funeral services were held on Sunday, July 30, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Springfield Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Calvin Hatcher officiating. Interment was held in Woodlawn Cemetery.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth my beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. Mr. John Henry Reeves, affectionately known as “Jam,” departed this life on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at his residence.

Mr. Reeves was born on August 5, 1963 to the late Mrs. Annie Lee Reeves Kemp.

He attended the public schools of Washington County, graduating with the class of 1981. John Henry was employed with Howard Sheppard, Inc. for twenty plus years as a truck driver.

Mr. Reeves leaves to cherish his memories, one brother: Mr. Michael (Barbara) Reeves, Sandersville, Georgia; three aunts: Ms. Mary Bell Zachary, Louisville, Kentucky, Ms. Betty Lou Reeves, Milledgeville, Georgia, Ms. Lois Reeves, Mayfield, Georgia; a host of other relatives and friends.
