Mr. Larry Morris

Mr. Larry Morris, affectionately known as "Pro-Mo", passed away on Friday, January 20, 2023 in Augusta, Georgia. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at 12:00 Noon at Middle Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Carl Williams officiating. Interment was held in the church cemetery.

He was born on December 01, 1957 to the parentage of Mrs. Willie Bell Battle Morris and the late Mr. Jessie Morris, Sr.

Mr. Morris was a graduate of Washington County High School in the class of 1975. He attended Fort Valley State University.

He was preceded in death by two sisters: Mrs. Cora Lee Cummings, Mrs. Gloria Beacham; six brothers: Mr. Jessie Morris, Jr., Mr. James E. Morris, Mr. Freddie B. Morris, Mr. Zelmon Morris, Mr. Tommy Morris, Mr. Jimmy Morris.

Mr. Morris leaves to cherish his memories, his mother: Mrs. Willie Bell Battle Morris, Sandersville, Georgia; five sisters: Ms. Willie Louise Robinson, Ms. Annie Pearl Cummings, Sandersville, Georgia, Ms. Mary Danzy, Milledgeville, Georgia, Ms. Susie Gail Robinson, Ms. Patricia Walker, Boston, Massachusetts; four brothers: Mr. Joe Morris, Mr. Jack Morris, Sandersville, Georgia, Mr. W.J. (Carol) Morris, Raleigh, North Carolina, Mr. William Earl Walker, Boston, Massachusetts; a host of other relatives and friends. M. C. Smith Funeral Home in charge.
