Mr. Michael Andrews

Mr. Michael Andrews, passed away on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at Smith Medical Nursing Care Center. Funeral services were held on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at Oak Grove Baptist Church at 3:00 P.M. with Rev. Raymond Andrews officiating. Interment was held in the church cemetery.

Mr. Michael Andrews, affectionately known as “7th Son 13th Child,” departed this life on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at Smith Medical Nursing Care Center.

He was born on October 19, 1965 to the parentage of the late Mr. Farris Lee Andrews, Sr. and Mrs. Annie Mae Andrews.

At an early age he joined Oak Grove Baptist Church.

Mr. Andrews attended Washington County High School, graduating with the class of 1983.

Michael was an avid music fan and a well known cook.

He was preceded in death by two brothers: Mr. Farris Andrews, Jr. and Mr. Tony Andrews.

Mr. Andrews leaves to cherish his memories, seven sisters: Mrs. Fleeta (Tommy) Poole, Mrs. Bertha Lee Hall, Ms. Annie Mae Andrews, Mrs. Alice (Larry) Kitchen, Ms. Zeffie Lee Andrews, Ms. Pauline Swint, Ms. Alma Andrews all of Sandersville, Georgia; four brothers: Mr. Forrest Lee (Judith) Andrews, South Carolina, Mr. Gary Lee Andrews, Mr. James E. Andrews, Mr. Jonathan Andrews; one aunt: Ms. Naomi Nelson; devoted cousins: Mr. Earnest Miller, Mr. Donald Morris; devoted friends: Mr. Derrick Murray, Mr. Allen Wilcher; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
