Mr. Montico Maze

Mr. Montico Maze passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021. Graveside services were held on Sunday, April 11, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at Georgia Grove Baptist Church with Elder Jessie Mountain officiating.

He was born in Augusta, Georgia on March 16, 1996 to the parentage of Ms. Felicia Henderson and Mr. Tyrone Maze.

“Tico” was a 2014 graduate of Washington County High School. He attended Oconee Fall Line Technical College and Savannah State University.

Mr. Maze was an entrepreneur, an avid sports fan and loved to travel. He was known to be a fun loving person who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandmothers: Mrs. Martha Henderson, Mrs. Mary Ella Maze Durden; grandfathers: Mr. Sammie Lee Richardson, Mr. Leroy Jones and an uncle: Mr. Dave Henderson.

Mr. Maze leaves to cherish his memories, two children: Master Makai Maze, Sandersville, Georgia, Master Mason Bynes, Tennille, Georgia; parents: Ms. Felicia Henderson, Tennille, Georgia, Mr. Tyrone Maze, Atlanta, Georgia; four brothers: Mr. Monterrio Maze, Mr. Monquez Henderson, Tennille, Georgia, Mr. Jordan Maze, Mr. Michael Spikes, Jr., Atlanta, Georgia; two aunts: Mrs. Mary (Randy) Broomfield, Tennille, Georgia, Mrs. Ollie (Gary) Spikes, Harrison, Georgia; grandfather: Mr. Eugene Durden, Sandersville, Georgia; great grandmother: Ms. Rose Mae Barnes, Sandersville, Georgia; godmother: Mrs. Rayshonda (Brano) Merrell, Sandersville, Georgia; god brother: Mr. Darieon Daniels, Sandersville, Georgia; a host of great aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
