Mr. Mose Darrisaw


On Friday, July 29, 2022, our father, Mr. Mose Darrisaw, Jr. departed this life on earth from his residence.


Graveside services were held on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Zion Hope Baptist Church, Tennille, Georgia with Rev. Grady Bell, Pastor, officiating.


He was born on July 2, 1960 to the parentage of the late Mr. Mose Hines and the late Mrs. Marie Darrisaw Peeler.


Mose attended the public schools of Washington County. He served in the US Army and after an honorable discharge, he worked as a mechanic.

He was a member Zion Hope Baptist Church in Tennille, Georgia.


Mr. Darrisaw was a very loving and joyful person to be around. He enjoyed spending time with his daughters, grandchildren, other family members and friends.


He was preceded in death by two brothers: Mr. James Peeler, Jr., Mr. Thomas Darrisaw and one sister: Ms. Marie Washington.


Mr. Darrisaw leaves to cherish his memories, two daughters: Ms. Felicia Peeler (Terik Walker), Ms. Ashley Peeler; three aunts: Ms. Dorothy Swint, Ms. Essie Mae Robinson, Ms. Sally Darrisaw; five grandchildren: Mr. Zachariah Owens, Mr. Terrion Walker, Mr. Terrell Walker, Ms. Kaitlyn Walker, Miss Khloe Peeler; devoted nephew: Mr. Sammie Lee Swint, Sr.; devoted friends: Mr. Phillip Ivey, Mr. Arthur Lee Dixon; a host of other relatives and friends. Mr. Darrisaw is survived by two daughters: Ms. Felicia Peeler (Terik Walker), Ms. Ashley Peeler; three aunts: Ms. Dorothy Swint, Ms. Essie Mae Robinson, Ms. Sally Darrisaw; five grandchildren: Zachariah Owens, Terrion Walker, Terrell Walker, Kaitlyn Walker, Khloe Peeler; devoted nephew: Mr. Sammie L. Swint, Sr.,; devoted friends: Mr. Phillip Ivey, Mr. Arthur Lee Dixon; several other relatives and friends. M.C. Smith Funeral Home in charge.
