Mr. Tommie Carswell

Mr. Tommie Carswell passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024 at his residence. Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at Union Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Benjamin Martin officiating. Interment was held in the church cemetery.

Tommie was born on February 19, 1944 to the parentage of the late Mr. Walter Carswell and the late Mrs. Louise Jackson Carswell.

He was preceded in death by his siblings: Mr. Ernest Carswell, Mr. Otis Carswell, Mr. Clester Carswell and twin brother, Mr. Thomas Carswell.

Mr. Carswell leaves to cherish his memories, his wife: Mrs. Brenda Carswell, Sandersville, Georgia; three children: Mrs. Jilmika (Dwayne) Hampton, Mr. Standerious (Amy) Taylor, Mr. Cornelius Edwards; two sisters: Ms. Juanita Laster, Haines City, Florida, Ms. Artelia Dixon, Sandersville, Georgia; one granddaughter: Miss Julira Hampton; devoted nephew: Mr. Willie (Angela) Carswell, Sandersville, Georgia; one sister-in-law: Mrs. Milas Flemming, Macon, Georgia;  brothers-in-law: Mr. Robert Edwards, Jr., Tennille, Georgia, Mr. Charlie Edwards, Sandersville, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
