Mrs. Amanda Lawrence

Mrs. Amanda Lawrence, passed away on Monday, June 14, 2021 at a local nursing home. Graveside services were held on Friday, June 18, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Olive Baptist Church with Chief Apostle Tom Walker officiating.

She was born on October 10, 1944 to the parentage of the late Mrs. Willie Mae Gladdin

Amanda was a sweet and loving person. She was known for her cooking and love of fishing. She attended Mt. Olive Baptist Church and New Light Christian Fellowship Church.

She was preceded in death by her siblings: Ms. Betty Mae Lawrence, Ms. Pinkie Mae Lawrence, Ms. Annie Lee Gladdin, Ms. Mary Lee Lawrence, Ms. Zenia Gladdin, Ms. Annie Julie Gladdin, Mr. Jefferson Gladdin and Mr. Calvin Gladdin.

Ms. Lawrence leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter: Mrs. Mary (Huttie) Swint, Tennille, Georgia; three sisters: Ms. Virginia Gladdin, Ms. Carolyn Gladdin, Warthen, Georgia, Ms. Pansy White, Sandersville, Georgia; two brothers: Mr. Sammie Gladdin, Warthen, Georgia, Mr. William (Mary Ann) Gladdin, Sandersville, Georgia; grandchildren: Mrs. Shannon (Terrance) Brightharp, Knoxville, Tennessee, Ms. Aspen Swint, Grovetown, Georgia, Mr. Malik Hunt, Ms. Niyah Hunt, Mr. Tyrell White, Warthen, Georgia, Mr. Kyle Poole, Sandersville, Georgia, great granddaughter: Ms. Blake Brightharp, Knoxville, Tennessee; aunt: Mrs. Willie Mae Lawrence, Sandersville, Georgia; devoted nieces: Ms. Ashley Peeler, Ms. Keisha White, Warthen, Georgia, Apostle Sara Lundy, Milledgeville, Georgia; devoted nephew: Mr. Steven Gladdin, Warthen, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.
