Mrs. Geraldine Ingram

Mrs. Geraldine Ingram, passed away on Monday, December 23, 2024 at Washington County Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Harrison Spring Baptist Church with Minister Cathy Latimer officiating. Interment was held in Harrison City Cemetery.

Mrs. Geraldine Dunn Ingram was the first born to her parents, the late Mr. Andrew James Dunn and the late Mrs. Reddie Mae Wiley Dunn.

She attended the public schools of Washington County.

At an early age she accepted Christ as her personal savior and became a member of Harrison Spring Baptist Church.

She worked various jobs throughout her life and retired in 2003.

Mrs. Ingram was married to the late Mr. G.T. Ingram. This union was blessed with five children. Geraldine loved everyone that crossed her path, but most of all she loved God.

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She had a heart of gold and was known for her strong acts of kindness and her willingness to lend a helping hand to whomever needed it.

Mrs. Ingram enjoyed her life to the fullest. Some of her hobbies were watching Family Feud and  Law & Order, riding, sitting on the porch, talking on the phone, eating good food and cooking.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister, cousin and friend. The lives she touched will forever be a reminder of her integrity, dedication and love.

She was preceded in death by two sons: Mr. Alvin Ingram, Mr. Chris Ingram; grandson: Mr. Jontavious Ingram; great granddaughter: Ms. Mya Ingram; sisters: Ms. Patricia A. Dunn, Ms. Joyce A. Dunn, Ms. Ruby Williams and brothers: Mr. Beverly Dunn and Mr. Edward Dunn.

Those left to cherish Geraldine’s precious memories and celebrate her legacy of life and love are her children: Mr. Willie (Darlene) Ingram, Mr. John (Jacqueline) Ingram, Mrs. Mary I. (Thomas) Hagans); grandchildren: Patrick (Courtney), Travis, Kendra, Lekisha, Trent, Tiffany, Tramanuel, Myterrious, Makayla; great grandchildren: Tra’veon, Ke’yanna, Kemya, Traniyah, Ny’Javen, Ty’Keveon, Jaden, Ny’Asia, Madison, Jamauri, Alora; sisters: Mrs. Pauline (Tommie) Hagans, Ms. Elizabeth Horton, Mrs. Gloria (Marshall) Haynes; brother: Mr. Robert J. Dunn; sister-in-law: Mrs. Patricia L. Dunn; bonus grandchildren: William, Kevin, Terryhon, A.J., R’reyana, Jay; devoted friends: Mr. Tommy Horton, Mr. Bobby Cannida, Mrs. Rose M. Mack, Mrs. Kate Bostick, Ms. Sandra Ingram, Mrs. Miyako Brooks, Ms. Ellen Wilder, the Bostick, Johnson, Warthen and Scott families; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. M.
