Mrs. Maggie B. Daniels
Mrs. Maggie Daniels, passed away on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at the Washington County Regional Medical Center. Graveside services were held on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 1:00 P.M. at Mount Olive Baptist Church, Warthen, Georgia with Rev. Corian Roberson officiating..
She was born on November 23, 1937 to the parentage of the late Mr. Robert Flemmings, Sr. and the late Mrs. Rosa Lee Allen Flemmings.
Mrs. Daniels affectionately known as “Duck” by her nieces and nephews was married to the late Mr. Hubert Daniels.
Maggie was a faithful member of Mount Olive Baptist Church, where she served on the Usher Board as the Treasurer.
During her younger days, she relocated to Brooklyn, New York for several years before returning back to Sandersville, GA. She was employed at Duckhead for many years. She was also a housekeeper and caretaker for Mrs. Turner of Warthen, Georgia.
She was preceded in death by one sister: Mrs. Willie Ruth Jackson and three brothers: Mr. Robert Flemmings, Mr. Jimmy Flemmings and Mr. Melvin Flemmings.
Mrs. Daniels leaves to cherish her memories, one sister: Mrs. Virgin Mary Kitchens, Sandersville, Georgia; one brother: Mr. Harvey Flemmings, Warthen, Georgia; devoted niece: Ms. Rose Jackson; six nieces: Mrs. Laura (Randy) Tucker, Mrs. Mary (James) Hunt, Sandersville, Georgia, Ms. Angela Jackson, Ms. Mary Ann Cummings, Warthen, Georgia, Ms. Tracey Flemmings, Macon, Georgia, Ms. Angela Flemmings, Savannah, Georgia; five nephews: Mr. Andrew (Marilena) Jackson, Mr. Darien Flemmings, Mr. Eric Flemmings, Sandersville, Georgia, Mr. Jerry Kitchens, Milledgeville, Georgia, Mr. Leon (Angela) Flemmings, Pooler, Georgia; one sister-in-law: Mrs. Milas Flemmings, Sandersville, Georgia; one brother-in-law: Mr. Andrew Jackson, Sr., Warthen, Georgia; one aunt: Mrs. Claudia Flemmings, Warthen, Georgia; three devoted cousins: Ms. Glenda Womble, Ms. Arlesia Hall, Ms. Annette Miller, Sandersville, Georgia; two devoted friends/neighbors: Ms. Francis Frazier, Ms. Willie Jordan, Sandersville, Georgia; adoptive grandson: Mr. Ryan Brown, Jr., Statesboro, Georgia; a host of great nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
