Mrs. Martha Taylor

Mrs. Martha Taylor departed this life on Thursday, January 30, 2025 at Pruitt Health Old Capital in Louisville, Georgia.

Graveside services were held on Sunday, February 2, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Harrison Cemetery with Pastor Audrey Jenkins officiating.

She was born on September 13, 1938 to the parentage of the late Mr. Willie Lee Jenkins, Sr. and the late Ms. Thedoshie Wiley.

Mrs. Taylor was married to the late Mr. Willie James Taylor.

At a young age, Mrs. Taylor joined Harrison Springs Baptist Church. She worked at various manufacturing jobs throughout her life.

She was an avid reader and would often times be found reading newspapers from many different places. She enjoyed sitting under the carport with her family in her spare time.

Mrs. Taylor leaves cherished memories to her children: Mrs. Dorothy (Eddie) Wiggins, Mrs. Mary (Otis) Taylor, Tennille, Georgia, Ms. Elizabeth Johnson, Mr. Bobbie (Annie) Taylor, Ms. Annie McClendon, Mr. Taurus Taylor, Harrison, Georgia, Mr. Lee (Jan) Hooks, Dallas, Georgia; two sisters: Ms. Doris Taylor, Harrison, Georgia, Ms. Bernice Davis, Elizabeth, New Jersey; one sister-in-law: Mrs. Blanche (James) Gilmore, Warner Robins, Georgia; nine (9) grandchildren; eight (8) great grandchildren; one (1) great great grandchild; a host of other relatives and friends..
