Mrs. Nina Hodges

Mrs. Nina Hodges, passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021 in Atlanta, Georgia. Graveside services were held on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Woodlawn Cemetery with Rev. Henry L. Tanner officiating.

Mrs. Hodges was born on November 16, 1952 in Miami, Florida to the parentage of the late Mr. Junior Miller and the late Ms. Lorraine Stanley and was raised by her grandmother, the late Ms. Perry Lee Jordan.

She attended the public schools of Washington County and was a member of Mt. Zion Second Baptist Church. For twenty years she was employed at Grady Memorial Hospital and for eleven years at DeKalb Medical.

Nina met and married the love of her life Mr. Frederick Donald Hodges, Sr. who preceded her in death. They were married for forty five years and their union was blessed with two sons, Don Jr. and Reggie.

Mrs. Hodges leaves to cherish her memories, two sons: Mr. Frederick Donald Hodges, Jr., Mr. Reginald Hodges; five grandchildren: Deziree Hodges, Deana Hodges, Nikedra Hodges, Tia Mays, Dequarious Brooks; one great grandchild: Madison Brooks; stepbrother: Mr. Cicero Giles; devoted friend: Mae Mae; a host of other relatives and friend.
