Mrs. Ruby Reynolds Brown

Mrs. Ruby Reynolds Brown, Sandersville, Georgia, passed away on Monday, September 5, 2022 at her residence. Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at 11 A.M. at Camp Spring Baptist Church with Dr. Julius Thomas officiating. Interment was held in Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.

She was born on May 8, 1955 to the parentage of the late Mr. Albert Reynolds, Sr. and the late Mrs. Inez Reynolds.

Mrs. Brown attended the public schools of Washington County where she graduated with the class of 1973.

She was a member of Camp Spring Baptist Church.

On October 3, 1980, she was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Charlie L. Brown.

She was preceded in death by a grandson: Mr. Yo’Darius Reynolds; four sisters: Mrs. Mary E. Thomas, Mrs. Pecolia R. Tumbling, Ms. Annie Reynolds, Mrs. Gloria Reynolds Taylor; four brothers: Mr. Albert Reynolds, Jr., Mr. Cloarence Reynolds, Mr. Thomas Reynolds and Mr. Lee Reynolds.

Mrs. Brown leaves to cherish her memories, a loving husband: Mr. Charlie L. Brown, Sandersville, Georgia; one loving son: Mr. Sylvester (Charlotta) Reynolds, Sandersville, Georgia; one loving daughter: Mrs. Chatkithah (Anthony) Freshley, Sandersville, Georgia; one loving sister: Mrs. Sarah (Rev. Dr. Rufus) Copeland, Augusta, Georgia; two loving brothers: Mr. Frank Reynolds, Mr. Marvin Reynolds, Sandersville, Georgia; five grandchildren: TaSean Reynolds, Damarcus Reynolds, Christopher Reynolds, Chymere Freshley, Aaliyah Freshley; three great grandchildren: Taylen Reynolds, Jahrian Nelson, Kassidy Reynolds; devoted niece: Mrs. Shirley (Johnny) Spencer, Tennille, Georgia; devoted nephew: Mr. Tony (Joyce) Thomas, Upper Marlboro, Maryland; a host of other relatives, friends, neighbors, classmates and coworkers.
