Mrs. Teresa Ann Jackson
Mrs. Teresa Ann Jackson, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2024 at her residence. Funeral services were held on Sunday, May 5, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Paul CME Church in Sparta, Georgia with Rev. Carlotta Ficklin officiating. Interment was held in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Teresa Ann Mathis Jackson was born on July 12 1957 in Washington County, Georgia to the parentage of the late Mr. Hoover Mathis and the late Mrs. Lille Ree Harris Mathis.
On Monday, April 29, 2024, an angel came to her residence and sealed the lips of our dear loved one.
She was reared in Hancock County, Georgia where she attended the county’s public school system.
At an early age, she began to fellowship with our Lord at St. Paul C.M.E. Church in Sparta, Georgia.
On September 14, 1974, she was united in holy matrimony to the late Mr. Stonewall Jackson, III. Their union was blessed with three children.
As a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend and neighbor; she was caring, sharing and always willing to do whatever she could whenever she could. Always with a smile on her face, she was a mother to many of the children in the family.
Affectionately known as “Ma” and “Mug” she enjoyed cooking, HGTV, reality shows and taking care of family.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Mr. Hoover Mathis, Jr. and Mr. Ricky Mathis.
Mrs. Jackson’s precious memories are left to be cherished by her daughter: Ms. Serena Jackson Taylor; sons: Mr. Jermaine (Marquita) Jackson, Mr. Jafari Jackson; sisters: Mrs. Annie (Darrell) Maze, Ms. Tracey Brown; brothers: Mr. Robert (Margaret) Mathis, Mr. Ernest Palmer; sisters-in-law: Ms. Edith Jackson Hall, Mrs. Juliette Jackson, Mrs. Vanessa Roberts, Ms. Virginia Jones; grandchildren: Mrs. Ambreyah (Keshawn) Lewis, Mr. Jerquavious Jackson, Mr. Jayden Taylor, Ms. Jayla Taylor, Ms. Janay Taylor, Ms. Aaniyah Jackson, Ms. Journey Brown; great grandchild Master Kaiden Lewis; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
