Ms. Annie Will Seals was born on December 7, 1945 in Warthen, Georgia. She was the fifth of seven girls born to the late Ms. Thelma Seales. Four of her siblings preceded her in death: Ms. Betty Lue Primas, Ms. Frances Arlene James, Ms. Gloria Fort and Ms. Thelma Lee Miller.
Annie Will joined Mt. Olive Baptist Church as a child. She also attended Mt. Olive Church School until it was consolidated into the Washington County Schools.
Annie was always very wise and insightful. When the pandemic hit the world, Ann was one of the first persons to say that the Coronavirus would become like the flu shot; it would be required annually. In May of 2022, the FDA said that the U.S. would update the Covid-19 Shot along side a seasonal flu shot.
As a child, Ann loved tap dancing. As a young adult she loved to party, travel and dress in the latest fashions. When her son Kris was born, her life changed; Ann took an about face. Her total focus now was on raising her son. She exposed him to every opportunity available. She was aware of the potential problems in trying to raise a son in inner city Newark, New Jersey. She wanted him to get a good education, and she taught him material a grade ahead. Her diligence paid off as Kris went on to finish college and earn a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.
Ann sometimes attended “Love of Jesus Family Church” in her neighborhood. She was a Prayer Warrior. If you asked her to pray, she would pray you through. Ann knew everybody’s birthday, and always wanted to be the first to call them on their special day. She kept in touch with the family. Ann loved the Lord and she loved people.
Ms. Annie Will Seals fought a good fight; and early Friday morning, September 9, 2022 at 5:22 A.M., she departed this world and went home to be with Jesus. She left with a beautiful smile upon her face.
Ms. Seals leaves to cherish her memories, one son: Mr. Kristopher Seals; two sisters: Ms. Julia F. Childers, Rev. Dr. Esther L. Seales; one uncle: Mr. Teddy Seals; a best friend of over fifty years: Ms. Evelyn Porter; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. M. C. Smith Funeral Home in charge.
