Ms. Carol Lynette Jones

Ms. Carol Lynette Jones passed away on Sunday, July 2, 2023 in Orlando, Florida. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at 12:00 Noon at M.C. Smith Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Corian Roberson officiating. Interment was held at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.

She was born on September 18, 1968 in Sandersville, Georgia to the late Ms. Clara Mae Jones and the late Mr. David Thames.

Carol had a sociable nature and was always full of love and laughter. She loved to dance, sing and write song lyrics. She also loved fashion, sketching clothing designs and interior decorating. She had a passion for antique shopping and vintage clothing.

Ms. Jones attended Orange County Public Schools in Orlando, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Mr. Kenneth Thames.

Ms. Jones leaves cherished memories to her sister: Ms. Lisa Jones Myles, Orlando, Florida; brother: Mr. Kevin Thames, Sr., Winter Garden, Florida; nieces: Ms. Marli Myles, Ms. Reilani Myles, Ms. Naomi Myles, Ms. LaKendra Thames, Ms. Naomi Thames, Ms. Lasandra Thames; nephews: Mr. Kevin Thames, Jr., Mr. Kendell Lovette, Mr. Travontae Rodgers; aunts: Ms. Juanita Gonder, Ms. Elizabeth Houston, Ms. Mary Nell Jones; devoted friend: Ms. Cassandra Benjamin; Jones Family, Gonder Family, Houston Family, Archer Family; a host of loving cousins, relatives and friends.
