Ms. Elizabeth Ann Pace

Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Pace, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at her residence. Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Bobby Warren officiating.

Mrs. Pace was born on June 15, 1963, in Sandersville, Georgia to the parentage of the late and great Mrs. Eva Mae and Mr. Steve Hooks, Sr.

She attended Washington County Public Schools where she graduated a year early from Washington County High School. After high school she moved to Detroit, Michigan and resided there for over ten years. After her time in Detroit, she moved to Florida where she lived for over ten years with her late husband Mr. Eddie Pace.

Several years after the passing of her husband she finally returned to Sandersville, Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Mr. Eddie Pace; two sisters: Mrs. Marguerite Greer, Ms. Velmon Hooks; three brothers: Mr. Steve Hooks, Jr., Mr. George Hooks, Sr., Mr. Dean Hooks; three nephews: Mr. Steven Hooks, Mr. Contrell Hooks, Mr. Mitchell Hooks; one niece: Ms. Carylon Hooks and one great niece: Ms. Summer Hooks.

To carry on her legacy, Ms. Pace leaves precious memories to five sisters: Ms. Willie Eva Hooks, Ms. Barbara Jean Hooks, Detroit, Michigan, Mrs. Anna Marie (Melvin) Jordan, Augusta, Georgia, Ms. Shirley Hooks, Ms. Deanna Hooks, Sandersville, Georgia; three brothers: Mr. Gregory Hooks, St. Louis, Missouri, Mr. Danny (Tasha) Hooks, Sr., Eastover, South Carolina, Mr. Howard Hooks, Sandersville, Georgia; stepdaughter: Mrs. Tanaya Pace Sims, Fayetteville, North Carolina; five grandchildren: Marquez Pace, AJ Sims, Marqus Sims, A’Lawna Sims, A’Ryan Pace, Fayetteville, North Carolina; two god-daughters: Ms. Itineala Brooks, Detroit, Michigan, Ms. Dominique Walker, Sandersville, Georgia; one God-son: Mr. Javan Rogers, Sandersville, Georgia; devoted friend: Mr. Johnny Eagle and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
