Ms. Jacqueline Brown


Ms. Jacqueline Brown, affectionately known as “Jackie”, departed this life on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at University Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 4:00 P.M. at Limestone Baptist Church with Elder Curtiss Cordy officiating.


She was born on August 12, 1967 in Davisboro, Georgia to the parentage of the late Mr. Hubert Brown and the late Mrs. Joeanne Little Brown.


Jackie had an amazing sense of humor. Her smile could light up the room. She was filled with so much love. She would always say, “I have lived my life.” Jackie loved her children but her grandchildren were her strength. She was a very forgiving woman and never held grudges. In her final days, Jackie was at peace.


Ms. Brown enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, traveling, cooking, watching Westerns, game shows, soap operas, reading and doing word games.

She was preceded in death by a nephew: Mr. Raymond Brown; three aunts: Ms. Beatrice Thomson, Ms. Lula Mae Benefield, Mrs. Beulah Mae Little; and six uncles: Mr. Bobby Thompson, Mr. Holmes Ralph Little, Sr., Elder Jimmy Little, Mr. James Little, Mr. William Little, Mr. Theotis Little, Sr., Ms. Brown leaves cherished memories to her three children: Mr. Shaquille D. (Javicia) Brown, Ms. Richandra J. Harden, Mr. Justin Turner; three sisters: Ms. Gwendolyn Brown, Ms. Patricia A. Brown, Ms. Tamesetta Shanita Brown; two brothers: Mr. Frederick (Constana) Brown, Mr. Jerry Brown; five aunts: Mrs. Lula Mae (Andrew) Fatal, Mrs. Christine (Lee Mack) Bendolph, Ms. Roger Bell Thompson, Ms. Ethel Davis, Mrs. Mary Ann (Glyne) Skeete; four uncles: Mr. Eddie Lee (Mary) Davis, Mr. James (Zetta) Davis, Mr. Ricky Davis, Mr. Freddie Davis; two grandchildren: Sha’Riyah D. Brown, Kobe K. Brown; devoted nieces and nephews: Ms. Tonika Braddy, Ms. Calaundria Braddy, Ms. Shaquetta Braddy, Ms. Tiana Young, Ms. Dia’vian Young, Ms. Asia Brown, Mr. Darkevious Brown, Mr. Ryan Brown, Mr. Quintavious (Ashley) Brown, Mr. Quintarious Brown; devoted friends: Mr. Richard Harden, Mrs. Juanita Purvey, Ms. Lashanda Brown, Ms. Regina Reeves, a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
