Ms. Lucille Hall




Ms. Lucille Hall, affectionately known as “Jap,” departed this life on Monday, December 14, 2020 at Augusta Health University. Graveside services were held on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Mount Olive Baptist Church with Rev. Henry L. Tanner officiating.


Ms. Hall was born on May 22, 1925 in Warthen, GA to the parentage of the late Mr. Sam Hall and the late Mrs. Nannie L. Miles Hall. She was the second oldest daughter.

She attended the public schools of Washington County. Lucille did many domestic jobs until her health failed.


At an early age, she accepted the Lord as her personal savior and became a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her son: Mr. Larry Hall, two sisters: Ms. Lou Will Steele, Ms. Ida Ruth Jackson and one brother: Mr. Jerome Hall.


Ms. Hall leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter: Ms. Stella Hall, Sandersville, GA; two sons: Mr. Eddie Hall, Warthen, GA, Mr. Sammie Hall, Sandersville, GA; seven grandchildren: Mr. Marvin Hall, Warthen, GA, Ms. Marcie Hall, Atlanta, GA, Ms. Cessala Coleman, Ms. Natasha Griffin, Ms. Tomeka Flemmings, Ms. Shameka Hall, Tennille, GA, Mr. Edren Griffin, Athens, GA; nineteen great grandchildren including five devoted grandchildren: Ms. Traneshia Kitchens, Mr. Dentravious Kitchens, Ms. Jalecia Kitchens, Ms. Shan’Zekia Kitchens. Ms. Shonterria Kitchens; ten great great grandchildren including four devoted great great grandchildren: Mr. Richard King, Jr, Master Maurice Flournoy, Jr, Mr. Greg Rowdy, Master Noah Brinson; devoted friends: Mr. Ronald Craig Allen, Ms. Debby Johnson, Mr. Johnny Johnson, the Miles and Hall families; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
