Ms. Shirley Williams

Ms. Shirley Williams, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at her residence. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Greater New Hope Baptist Church in Oconee, Georgia with Rev. Eddie D. Smith, Sr. officiating. Interment was held in the church cemetery.

She was born on October 14, 1962 to the parentage of the late Mr. Clinton Darrisaw, Sr. and the late Mrs. Mary Alice Darrisaw.

Ms. Williams was a graduate of Washington County High School Class of 1980. She was a member of Greater New Hope Baptist Church in Oconee, Georgia. She was formerly employed by Washington County Regional Medical Center in Sandersville, Georgia and Crowntec in Wrightsville, Georgia.

She was preceded in death by a step-son: Mr. Melvin Williams and one grandchild.

Ms. Williams leaves to cherish and honor her memories, two daughters: Ms. Jessica Darrisaw, Tennille, Georgia, Mrs. Courtney (Ernesto) Williams-Barrera, Cummings, Georgia; one son: Mr. Tobias Williams, Tennille, Georgia; six step-daughters: Ms. Glenda Graddy, Atlanta, Georgia, Ms. Teresa Mitchell, Ms. Tammy Ford, Mrs. Tonya (Al) Coneway, Dublin, Georgia, Mrs. Marcia (Jarvis) Primus, Milledgeville, Georgia, Mrs. Lena Faye (Cedric) Hawkins, Warner Robins, Georgia; one step-son: Mr. Michael Williams, Dublin, Georgia; two sisters: Mrs. Daisy (Prince) Walker, Tennille, Georgia, Mrs. Peggy Purdy, Tennille, Georgia; five brothers: Mr. Clinton (Kay) Darrisaw, Sr., Mr. Willie Robert (Evelyn) Darrisaw, Oconee, Georgia, Mr. Jesse (Sylvia) Darrisaw, Irwinton, Georgia, Mr. Rudolph (Betty) Darrisaw, Tennille, Georgia, Mr. Glenn (Lisa) Darrisaw, Wrightsville, Georgia; two aunts: Mrs. Annie Ruth Gregory, Mrs. Willie Pearl Archer; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
