Rev. Henry Louis Tanner

Rev. Henry Louis Tanner passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Springfield Baptist Church located at 415 West Church Street, Sandersville, Georgia with Rev. Johnny Ray Sampson officiating. Interment will be held at Henderson Grove AME Church Cemetery.

Rev. Tanner is survived by his wife: Mrs. Pamela Gilmore-Tanner; three sons: Mr. Kingsley Coleman (Kerisa), Mr. Deneko Tanner (Janelle), Mr. Felix Braddy; three daughters: Ms. Adrienne Walker, Ms. Natasha Harris, Ms. Latonya Tanner; six sisters: Ms. Annie Mae Parker, Ms. Tressie Anthony, Mrs. Melonease (Kenny) Jones, Mrs. Linda (Darryl) Reaves, Ms. Marilyn Salter, Ms. Shenita Armstrong; one brother: Mr. Tommy Lee Tanner; thirteen grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. M. C. Smith Funeral Home in charge.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025 from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Highland Park Church located at 501 Evans Street, Sandersville, Georgia.
